Research Focus

I am working in the field of regenerative bioengineering at Harvard University School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS). I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at Prof. Mooney David laboratory, and I focus my research on promoting the vascularization and innervation of skeletal muscle tissues. For that purposes, we employ specifically designed biodegradable polymer scaffolds, supplied with growth factor and adult stem cells. I was awarded an European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) Long-Term Fellowship and will continue this project in the future.
