Education Ph.D. Materials Science and Engineering, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2016) B.S. Polymer Science and Engineering, University of Science and Technology of China (2012) Research Summary I am currently a postdoctoral fellow in Mooney Lab, aiming to integrate my research background in chemistry, materials science, and chemical biology with cancer immunology here. Specifically, I am interested in understanding how immune cells, particularly dendritic cells and T cells, can be modilated or engineered from a single cell level, in order to improve and innovate therapies for cancers and other immune-related diseases. The combination of cancer vaccines and other therapies for treating poorly-immunogenic solid tumors is also of my interest. At last, I am actively pursuing the impact of gut microbiome on the anticancer efficacy of scaffold-based cancer vaccines.
