Professor Mooney was recently honored with the [2014 Capers and Marion McDonald Award for Excellence in Mentoring and Advising](http://www.seas.harvard.edu/news/2014/04/david-mooney-honored-with-mcdonald-mentoring-award) at SEAS. Previously, Professor Mooney was one of the recipients of the [2013 Everett Mendelsohn Excellence in Mentoring Award](http://www.seas.harvard.edu/news/2013/04/david-j-mooney-receives-everett-mendelsohn-excellence-mentoring-award), presented by the Harvard Graduate Student Council.
